Journey with the participants of the J-Term 2009 experience "The Ecumenical Church in a Globalized World" held in Geneva, one of the Ecumenical centers of the world, January 6-21.
22 participants and a 5-person teaching team will spend 3 weeks discovering what it means to be a member of a global communion of churches and the implications this globalization for ministry within North America. They will travel to the Lutheran World Federation, the United Nations offices, as well as many ecumenical venues in and around Switzerland. They will also have the opportunity to visit the Taize Community in France and experience a community of prayer.
Please come back often to share questions or reflections on what the participants are doing.
